THE RHYTHM METHOD DEAN MARTIN

‘Dean Martin’ is the latest single from London duo The Rhythm Method. Composed of Joey Bradbury and Rowan Martin, their music is earnest and unironic, as verbose and witty verses give way to undeniably hooky choruses. This much is certainly true of ‘Dean Martin’, a document of life on tour, of drinking in spots you've never set foot in before and with any luck never will again. Ever the astute social commentators, the Rhythm Method highlight a common denominator, explaining “in every UK karaoke pub there’s always a bloke who gets up and sings some random country caper song you’ve never heard before. This is our attempt.” Upcoming sophomore album ‘Peachy’ releases March 8 and may be a departure from what fans have come to expect, as you may notice from the lush production this time Bradbury and Martin have taken The Rhythm Method into a proper recording studio. Select 'Dean Martin' on the pub jukebox and savour the country stylings, tuck your shirt into your jeans and put your name down for karaoke, read the sleeve notes and discover to your surprise that “Bill Ryder-Jones plays the slide guitar. Ennio Morricone played nothing. Yee-haw." -Adam Brown
